• Contact, select, and retain business partners
• Guide market development strategies and tactics for selected partners, discover and explore opportunities with them, and support their efforts to capture opportunities within the parameters of company/brand objectives.
• Balance growth and profitability priorities, poise deal risk with deal potential, and international market development commitments with company resources and priorities.
• Protect company's value by maintaining high standards of brand identity, IP protection, confidentiality, and personal professionalism and integrity.
• Enhance company reputation by finding ways to add value to business relationships and their associated customers and consumers.
• Establish credibility and build strong relationships with executives of key business partnerships.
• Record important customer contacts, communication and correspondence in CRM system.
• Meet sales objectives and targets.
International Sales Manager Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
• Prior demonstrated history of sales success required. Candidate must have 3 to 5 years' previous sales experience. Prior international sales experience and consumer goods sales experience preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's degree in business management, international business, marketing or equivalent.
• Strong consultative selling skills.
• Strong critical thinking, judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Deep business acumen and the intelligence and creativity to create compelling, attractive deals and business relationships.
• Track record of developing and managing international strategic sales plans, channel partners, and markets.
• Competent in the use of CRMs and Microsoft Office products.
• Fluent in English. Fluency in a second language is a plus.
