Suzhou International Kindergarten Hiring English Homeroom Teacher
kindergarten,Suzhou : Foreign homeroom teachers
1. salary : 23k~28k before tax;
2. housing allowance ;
3. 10000rmb travelling allowance for each year;
4. end of year bonus;it almost equal to one month salary,depends on yearly performance evaluation;
5. working time : 7:50-4:30 Monday~Friday;
6. China's statutory holidays ;
7. Winter holiday ;
8. Summer holiday ;
9. Health insurance;
10.Christmas & new year holiday(totally 10days long) ,need to make up classes before or after the holidays
11. Location: close to metro station:about 200m~300m away from metro station
Responsibilities:
Kindergarten Curriculum Implementation
1.To ensure that curriculum goals and objectives are understood and shared by teachers
2.To support the planning and organizing of the day-to-day class and teacher schedules
3.To ensure that resources to support teachers’ planning are available
4.To support teachers in the use of activity areas in the classroom to foster development or to extend children’s learning
5.To model and support effective teaching and learning strategies
6.To support teachers on documentation of the learning progress of individual children
7.To work with teachers in identifying children with special developmental or educational needs and working with Principal and parents on necessary supports
8.To advise teachers on appropriate evaluation processes and methods and to ensure regular reporting to parents
9.To support teachers in arranging fieldtrips, family events and performances for the enrichment of children’s learning experience
Program Management and Supervision
1.To ensure the smooth daily operation of the Kindergarten program
2.To ensure that classrooms and school environment are healthy and safe for children
3.To oversee purchase of appropriate resources for the program and to keep stock of all program resources
4.To maintain regular communication with the senior management and other divisions upon needs
5.To work with the marketing and admission staff to promote the Kindergarten program
6.To support the placement of new entrants to the program
7.To chair Kindergarten faculty meetings and keep minutes
Teacher Professional Development
1.To organize and participate in regular collaborative learning, sharing and reflection among teachers
2.To encourage and develop teamwork among teachers
3.To work with Principals on performance appraisal of teachers
Working with Parents/Families
1.To get to know parents/families of children in the program, and build partnership with them to enhance children’s learning and development
2.To oversee School Newsletters to parents/families, and to organize and maintain other types of information or events for parents/visitors such as (but not limited to) bulletin board, program displays, etc.
3.To provide opportunities for parents to further their knowledge and understanding of children’s learning and development
4.To meet with individual parents or potential parents upon request
