Overview:
We’re looking for online producer to help program packages for a world-class search engine that retrieves the most relevant results for users from hundreds of billions of documents in a matter of milliseconds.

The successful candidate must have experience in an online news publishing environment working on a consumer web site using in-house proprietary tools. A deep understanding of consumer Web trends in news, entertainment, business, and popular culture is a must, as well as a solid grasp of the competitive landscape. If you’re energetic, savvy, and quick-thinking with knowledge of editorial best practices and AP style, we’re looking for you.

Responsibilities:
-Apply knowledge of news, culture and trends to make daily programming decisions.
-Select and package stories and photos, write headlines and teases
-Craft social media posts (Twitter, Facebook, HootSuite and TweetDeck)
-Promote trending terms to capitalize on SEO

Qualifications:
-Minimum 3-5 years' experience in online news industry
-B.A. required, preferably in journalism or media
-Ability to thrive working under continual deadlines in a fast paced, constantly-changing, and high energy environment
-Familiar with content management systems and online analytics tools
-You may be working on a variety of projects, so flexibility and time management skills are required.
