Responsibilities:
* Teach Chinese English learners (elementary school) in the following four classes: PE (game-based) class, story class, craft class ·and science class.
* Collaborate with Chinese Assistant Teachers in lesson planning, building classroom culture, and creative teaching.
* Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff for school-wide special classes and events: Summer & Winter Sessions, special holiday celebrations, and variety of out-door activities throughout the academic semesters.
Minimum Qualifications
* Native English Speaker [U.S. | Canada | U.K. | Australia/New]
* Bachelor’s Degree
* TEFL Certificate TESOL certificate preferred.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience post graduation in related field
* Must have passion and joy for working with children
* Must be open-minded to cultural and societal diversity
* Work will be started from September 1st 2016.

Brief Introduction about the post
Jia Xiang Elementary School Innovative Class is a pilot program affiliated to Chengdu Jia Xiang Foreign Language School, one of the top private schools in Sichuan Province, China. Jia Xiang Elementary School boasts a glorious history of more than ten years and this program has been run for three years, which consists three grades now.
Innovative Class is intended to realize holistic education, developing children into a well-rounded human being. To be specific, based on the four core values: be respectful, grateful, responsible and persistent, the philosophy of this program is to foster students who are highly imaginative and creative with independent and critical attitude of mind.
The curriculum of Innovative Class is meticulously constructed and the four classes (mentioned in Responsibilities) are specifically designed for foreign English teachers. For each class, school-based textbooks are professionally compiled and a Chinese bilingual assistant teacher is appropriately appointed.

    Jiaxiang Foreign Languages School (JXFLS) is a private school located in Chengdu, Sichuan. It was founded in 2000 by Mr. Xiang Kejian, a successful entrepreneur.
