We are looking to add to our Foreign staff at Jiaxiang Elementary school. Here at Jiaxiang we take a very holistic and innovative approach to education. We welcome talented new teachers who are passionate about the education industry, love working with children and take a creative and caring approach to teaching young learners. We are looking for a motivated, reliable and energetic individual to take this position and become part of our creative team.
Jiaxiang Foreign Language Elementary School (JXFLS) is a private school located in Chengdu, Sichuan. It was founded in 2000 by Mr. Xiang Kejian. After more than ten years of development, Jiaxiang Foreign Language School ranks in the top tier schools in the province and continues to promote and display academic excellence in all subject areas while also emphasizing diversity on campus. We encourage our students to develop their vocational and extracurricular skills as often as we promote the importance of academic study, we believe this offers more diversity to our students and can generate more opportunities for them in the future.

Responsibilities:

* Teach Chinese English learners (elementary school) in the following five immersion classes: PE (game-based) class, English class, craft class culture class and science class.
*Preparing effective lessons to be taught in large classrooms
* Teaching young Chinese English learners
* Collaborate with Chinese Assistant Teachers in lesson planning, building classroom culture, and creative teaching.
*Developing your own teaching/learning materials
*Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff for school-wide special classes and events: special holiday celebrations, and variety of out-door activities throughout the academic semesters
*Must contribute to and participate in teacher’s meetings, and training, seminars

Minimum Qualifications
* Native English Speaker [U.S. | Canada | U.K. | Australia/New Zealand]
* Bachelor’s Degree
* TEFL /TESOL /CELTA certificated
* Minimum of 2 years work experience in related fie
* Must be passionate about working with children
*Must be organized and have good time keeping skills.
* Candidates should be open minded and open to understanding and learning about other cultures
* Must be available to start work on campus by August 25th. 2016
*Working hours:35hours a week - Monday to Friday. This may includes teaching hours(no more than 17hours per week), training, class preparation and planning, academic development, student activities, and other tasks.
