Responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to the Chairman and CEO, this is a highly influential role combining technical product strategy, strategic and financial planning, business management, internal communications, and cross-functional and international initiatives.
- The Senior Assistant enables full alignment within our multinational leadership team and helps drive optimal performance to accelerate growth in the United States
- The Senior Assistant is pivotal in articulating the CEO’s vision and tracking progress against company goals
- Develop and maintain sources of information that provide relevant and timely information and insights into areas of interest to upper management (i.e., Industrial Internet, electronics manufacturing, information processing technologies).
- Collaborate with business leadership to ensure its businesses are consistently positioned in all English-language corporate communications.
Strategy
- Support Chairman & CEO in critical strategic and operational decisions through analysis and communications support.
- Recruit, train and manage team of 5-10 English Assistant direct reports.
Requirements:
- BA or BS in business-related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
- 10+ years in management role within multinational corporation in manufacturing, high-tech, finance, information technology, legal services or consulting industry.
- Chinese/Asia-Pacific working experience with proven track record.
- Prior experience in top-tier consulting firm as well as international (Asia) operations experience is a plus.
- Prior experience serving as upper management or C-Suite support role is a plus
- Full professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese, including speaking, listening, reading and writing (~C1+ level or HSK Level 5-6; 6 highly preferred)
- Frequent travel required (25-50% per month).
- Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
- Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, senior management, external partners, etc.
- Expert level writing and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.
- Emotional maturity and resiliency.
