Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Performs a variety of secretarial and administrative duties while maintaining a highly responsive relationship to the executives.
2.Composes correspondence requiring some understanding of technical matters and may sign for Vice President after technical or policy content has been authorized.
3.Notes commitments made by Vice President and arranges for staff members to represent organization at conferences and meetings.
4.Establishes appointment and invitation priorities.
5.Edits outgoing correspondence for Vice President's approval and advises the writer regarding departure from policies or Vice President's viewpoint.
6.Summarizes the content of incoming materials regarding gathered information or meetings, and draws attention to important items.
7.Ensures that requests for action or information are relayed to the appropriate staff members in the Vice President's absence. Keeps Vice President informed of important matters.
8.Prepares presentations into final slide and/or transparency form.
9.Arranges domestic and international business and travel schedules. Coordinates and processes visa and passport applications.
10.Evaluates, sources and implements office equipment and systems, keeping abreast of latest technologies.
11.Develops agendas and schedules meetings for various corporate and client visitations.
12.Maintains corporate documents and files.
