Responsibilities:
● Translate, review, proofread and test game-related texts in your language to a high-quality standard.
● Work closely with game developers and the publishing team to ensure high linguistic quality in-game.
● Be responsible for all linguistic aspects of the texts you are assigned to ensure that the best quality products are delivered and published.
● Create content for social media accounts including text, image, to increase user engagement and brand exposure.
● Build up community and user base through events and other creative marketing campaigns.
● Manage public comments and player queries in a timely, engaging manner
● Monitor and report results of online reviews and public commentary
Requirement:
1. Native speaker of the target language (English).
2. Excellent written skills in English.
3. Conversational/fluent Chinese is preferred.
4. Educational qualifications in translation, linguistics or a related field are desired.
MOBA, SLG, PUBG gamers with game translation experience are preferred.
5. Deep understanding of native country's gaming industry, culture, and community.
6. Good communication skills and capable of working with a diverse team from different countries/cultures.
