Do you have the character needed to succeed with us?
We teach in an active, multi-faceted way at a fast pace. It can be challenging to wrap your head around initially, but we provide rigorous training and have a team approach towards continued service improvement. Our students act as evidence of the success of our teaching style, so you can expect to be occupationally fulfilled on a regular basis. Our methodology triumphs spoken fluency over everything so you’ll need to be charismatic and ready to vocally engage some (occasionally) boisterous new, young learners.
Flexible work time(no office hour). In one week, there will be a maximum of 20 teaching hours and time to prepare classes. The format for classes is laid out in comprehensive teacher guides and you will be expected to gather the necessary teaching materials before each class. Teachers are given two consecutive days off each week (most likely Mondays and Tuesdays) with an afternoon/evening schedule for working week days and full days at work over the weekends. Classes will have no more than 8 students and last for 50 minutes. At present our school has students aged between 2 and 9 years old with divisions between 2-3, 3-5 and 6-9. As well as your regular classes you will be expected to partake in marketing activities which could, possibly, be held outside of the school. We also understand that many EFL teachers have their sights set beyond teaching and so we offer our teachers the chance to take on project management within the company- definitely get in touch if you have a skill set that you would like to nurture alongside your teaching career.

From Idea to Global Leader
Helen Doron – World Leader in the ESL (English as a Second Language) Industry
More than 30 years ago, Helen Doron had a moment of inspiration while watching her young daughter learn violin through the Suzuki method. If Suzuki is teaching the language of music, why aren’t we teaching the music of language?” asked Doron.
As a linguistic scientist, she had a deep understanding of the mechanics of language. As a mother watching her children grow up bilingual, she saw the challenges involved in teaching children English as a second language.
From inspiration to home-based business
With this insight, Helen Doron created a unique methodology for children from ages 3 months to 19 years that would make learning a second language as easy and natural as learning their mother tongue.
She created action-packed lessons that were so much fun; the children didn’t realize they were learning English. Each lesson is full of enjoyable activities that use the different senses, so there is lots of interaction, conversations, games and songs.
From local to global
The business grew from a home-based business into a global franchise network and Helen Doron’s vision of teaching English naturally, backed by her proven methodology and creative learning materials including original songs, animated videos, and educational apps, opened a whole new world for teaching English as a foreign language.
More than three million children have learned English with the unique Helen Doron methodology. Today, Helen Doron English is an international educational franchise with more than 1,000 learning centres in 37 countries, and is still growing.

Teachers who make a difference.
Most of us had at least one teacher who made a real difference in our lives. Someone who was passionate enough to teach us important values and life lessons, encourage us to become better people, and who taught from the heart. That’s the type of teacher we’re looking for!
While it’s essential to be an English language expert, to teach English as a Foreign Language (EFL) using our methodology takes commitment, creativity, enthusiasm, a love of children, and a desire to help them learn. It’s more than a way to make a living, it’s a way of life.
