Working Habit
1. The teacher follows the required time to start and end work in the school.
2. The teacher follows the school’s regulation and dresses appropriately in school (i.e. no low-cut shirt). While suits and ties are not mandatory, a professional appearance is desirable.
3. The teacher is motivated, proactive, resourceful and a creative problem solver.
4. The teacher possesses and utilizes strong organizational skills and meets deadlines.
5. The teacher complies with school policies and strives to uphold the name of the school.
6. The teacher checks e-mail and wechat groups regularly and responds to all e-mails within 48 hours upon receiving them.
7. The teacher follows the school calendar and weekly class schedule.
8. The teacher conducts himself/herself professionally and in an appropriate manner at all times, modeling the Attributes of the Learner Profile.
The Learning Environment and Climate
1. The teacher provides a stimulating and challenging classroom environment that displays and reflects students’ learning.
2. The teacher provides an environment for students to work both independently and collaboratively.
Classroom management
1. The teacher work with other teachers that work with your class.
2. The teacher contributes ideas for special events or group activities.
3. The teacher documents students’ learning through meaningful assessment, and keeps an accurate and up to date record of this.
4. If required the teacher will supervise the students during the lunch break and lead the students to the cafeteria in a safe manner.
Effective Planning and Teaching
1. The teacher attends weekly Grade Level Meetings, (GLMs) and work collaboratively to liaise and plan with Chinese English teachers as well as other grade level teachers.
2. The teacher’s plans and reflections are informed by assessment of student work and learning.
3. The teacher hooks the learners at the beginning of the lesson and keeps them engaged throughout the lesson.
4. The teacher endeavors that the students have the opportunity to interact with many people (partners, groups, whole class, students from other classes)
5. The teacher has a basic knowledge of subject content and research to develop your knowledge further prior to lessons. The teacher applies this to the teaching.

Beijing Royal School (BRS) is affiliated with Beijing Fazheng Group, which serves as the umbrella company for Chengdu Royal Foreign Language School, Dalian Jia Hui Education Group, Yuncheng Royal School, Sanya City Vocational College Beijing Royal Integrative Medicine Hospital, and other institutions.
Established in 1996, Beijing Royal School (BRS) has emerged as one of the premier international schools in China offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, encompassing the Primary Years Program (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP). In addition to the IB curriculum, BRS is authorized to provide A-Level, A-S and IGCSE, OSSD, Pre-AP, and AP courses.
