Weiming is a relatively young Group with a history of 18 years. It is the largest private educational group in China, whose educational institutions range from kindergarten to high school with about 33,000 students and faculty. Currently our business covers many of the top 20 cities in China including Beijing, Tianjin, Chongqing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Wuhan, Qingdao and Guiyang, We plan to open up new kindergartens and schools, and expand our business in 15 of the top 20 cities in China.
INTERNATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM
Weiming’s International curriculum is grounded in US and Australia Com on Core standards with a
focus on development of English Proficiency for Grade 7 to Grade 11. All Weiming students obtain credits equivalent to US and Australia grade level which easily transfers for enrollment at equivalent grade level in the US, and they can apply for Australian university in China.

QINGDAO WEIMING SCHOOL is the ninth school of Weiming Group of 1 schools, and from primary
school to high school, on the basis of a high quality, internationalized education. The school is located in Huangdao district of Qingdao city, Shandong Province，covering an area of over 100000 square meters. There are a total of 4200 students in plan. The school has attracted more 1,600
students to study in the school now.
GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE POSITION
Job Title: International Studies Department (ISD) foreign teachers ： EAL,ESL, SCIENCE,MATHS, HISTORY and other Subjects.
Location: Qingdao Weiming School , Huangdao District, Qingdao
Reports To: the Director of ISD
Starting Date: 2019.08.25
Summary: International High School Foreign Teachers to instruct their subjects. Teachers instruct students by performing the duties listed below.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities including the following, but not limited to:
1.Assume teacher responsibilities including classroom instruction, homeroom mentor, product team advisor, co-curricular sponsor, and curriculum development.
2.Work school calendar of 190-200 student days, longer school day of 7:50 a.m. – 17:30 p.m. and
teacher calendar of 200-210 days. (Exact days of school should be in accordance with the school calendar)
3.Weekly classroom instructional period will be approximately 28 teaching hours with 40-50 minutes per period.
4.Support enrichment programs.
5.Participate in required teacher training.
6.Develop school curriculum and start-up components.
7.Support an international focus across the curriculum, cross-disciplinary planning and inquiry based learning within a block schedule.
8.Meet instructional and compliance requirements of the ISD program.
RERUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION
1.Valid secondary teaching certificate preferred with necessary endorsements or English as a second language teaching certificate;
2.Major in teaching area required;
3.Secondary Teaching Experience preferred.
4.Non-Criminal Record Certificate
Education: Bachelor degree or above-
Language Skills: Highly proficient in written and verbal communication with a particular emphasis on subject area, specific competencies and emphatic communications. ESL training and/or interest in teaching non-native English speaking students.
Technical skills: Ability to use computer technology for research, data management, communications and other instruction.
Reasoning Ability: Highly proficient in subject areas of: reasoning, problem solving, organizational dynamics and emotional intelligence.
Physical Demands: Capability to perform duties normally associated with secondary teaching. Medical Check-up required by Chinese government should be satisfied according to relevant procedures.
Work Environment: School building consisting of office space, classrooms and specialty facilities.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary: 18,000RMB to 24,000RMB monthly before tax.
1.Meal Allowance: The employee is eligible for meal allowance , RMB 7 every working day.
2.Holiday Allowance: Employees may enjoy holiday allowance according to the school’s policy. Normally the holidays refer to Labor Day Holiday, National Day Holiday, New Year, and ChineseSpring Festival.
3.Preferential Policy of Teachers’ Children Entering School: The school will provide tuition-discount enrollment into the school for dependents of one teacher or teaching family according to the school policy.
4.Air tickets Allowance: Up to 10,000 RMB at contract completion.
5.Housing Allowance: housing budget and utilities reimbursement of RMB 3000 per month in total before tax.
6.Commercial Insurance: Including medical insurance, life insurance or social insurance according to related stipulations of the state, province and municipality.
Teachers will be paid a gross monthly salary during winter and summer Vacation covered in the contract.
