About us
Our Story
Our story begins in New York City, a truly international city, and home to Columbia University. Gaining admission was a dream come true for both of us and we threw ourselves into campus life. We quickly became best friends, having a shared interest in everything Columbia.
While studying abroad in Asia, we were constantly impressed with the intelligence, curiosity and work ethic of the students we met. Students often turned to us for insight on the college admissions process. Although we enjoyed sharing our stories, we were disappointed to learn about the significant amount of misinformation about U.S. college admissions circulated in Asia. We were also troubled to see well-qualified Asian students limited by the lack of reliable admissions information and unaware of the vast number of higher education options available to them in the U.S.
Our idea for Due West was born from this experience. Students who have the courage to travel abroad to the U.S. deserve ethical and comprehensive guidance. We created Due West Education in order to bring the ideal resources from the U.S. to Asia and help students benefit from the same advantages of an American education that we enjoyed.
We have assembled a team of professionals who have real admissions experience and insider expertise. Our mission is to provide comprehensive, transparent and professional support and mentorship on applying to U.S. high schools and universities, from identifying your interests and passions to understanding the admissions process and preparing for life as an international student. Our innovative programs are designed around your needs.
We have a long-term vision, we know that building a strong admissions profile takes time, and we will work with you year-by-year to make sure that you are on track to meet your educational goals.
We admire your courage, determination and commitment to your dreams and look forward to helping you go forward with confidence on your journey west.
