Job Description:
l Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons;
l Assigning, correcting, and marking work;
l Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development, progress, attainment, and behavior of students;
l Promoting the general progress and wellbeing of students;
l Providing guidance and advice to students on educational and social matters and on their further education and future careers;
l Working with other members of the school staff and parents/guardians to ensure the best interest of students;
l Reviewing and evaluating one’s own teaching and learning strategies, methodologies in line with WLSA curriculum framework guidelines;
l Participating in the in-house training program and contributing to the professional development program of school;
l Maintaining good order and discipline amongst students under one’s care and safeguarding their health and safety at all times;
l Nurturing a culture where teachers view themselves essentially as facilitators of learning and reflective practitioners.\
l For A-Level candidates, the big plus is the experience of teaching A-Level

Teaching periods: 20-25 periods per week, willing to take evening study duties and participate in student admission interview support.

Duration:
Full-Time, 2-year contract
Requirements:(Salary Cap 25-33K pre-tax monthly)
l A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree which should be in the area the candidate wishes to teach (history)
l Minimum two years teaching experience
l Passion in education and be capable of motivating students and helping shape their futures
l Ability to work well on a team with others
l Ability to differentiate implementation of curriculum
