Objectives of job
Install, maintain and repair machinery/equipment/technical systems and ensure the availability
Ensure the availability of production-supporting, equipment/tools, test equipment/systems, (e.g. test equipment with complex technologies etc.)

Principle activities
Act as internal and external contact person within his/her own area of expertise; cooperate in internal working groups
Create internal publications (e.g. specific reports etc.) and present as required (internally)
Recognize general need for continuing education in his/her own field within the company; plan and conduct internal and external training on complex topics, both domestically and in other countries (e.g. basis and advanced trainings etc.) Implement basic training on selected technologies with respect to equipment/test equipment/test
systems
Support in determining and optimizing internal standards and processes within his/her own area of expertise
Observe/identify trends in his/her area of expertise in order to develop concepts; suggest recommendations for predictive maintenance actions and ensure the effectiveness
Solve complex problems/errors in selected technologies of equipment/test equipment/test systems and ensure the analysis and solution
Ensure the quality of maintenance, repair, overhauling and service work in the plant
Conduct mainly conceptual activities within his/her area of expertise
Cooperate in the introduction of new technologies in production plants
Secure the evaluation and analysis of local reports for initiating follow-up measures and actions
Ensure the conformity and update of regional user documentation
Support the qualification and conformity assessments of service organizations
Ensure the implementation, documentation and coordination of maintenance, repair and overhaul work on test systems in the global service
Assemble equipment/test systems in concert with customer requirements and specifications (e.g.
equipment technology specifications, etc.)
Ensure the start-up of test equipment/systems
Ensure information flows within the involved specialist departments and to supervisors and communicate in the global service
Comply with company EHS management rules, know the factory and work area environmental factors and hazards, perform the post responsibility what described in the safe production responsibility system.

Job and Work Requirements
Professional/graduate education (experienced professional) usually acquired through a bachelor’s degree or professional certification
2-3 years of experience in a specialized field (highly proficient in a technical, scientific or specialized field built on a thorough understanding of theoretical concepts and principles and their context)
English knowledge, MS office skills
German Native Speaker if preferred
