The Head of Kindergarten’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Assuming overall responsibility for the harmonious, collaborative and safe working practices of the Kindergarten.
Establishing comprehensive progress records for each Kindergarten pupil and communicate regularly to parents.
Ensuring the health and safety requirements of all pupils and staff learning and working in the Kindergarten are met.
Implementing and communicating the annual evaluation of Kindergarten staff while participating readily in self-directed annual evaluation.
Creating an on-going culture of professional development and contribute personally towards this end where possible.
Facilitating effective communication which includes appropriate involvement of staff in decision-making.
Supporting the establishment of a rich co-curricular programme and a supportive pastoral system.
About You
Current Teacher and Administration Certificate/License/Documentation
Master’s Degree (Administration preferred)
Teaching and Administration experience (minimum 10 years preferred)
Demonstrated successful leadership, organization and management skills
Proven effective communication, public relations and collaborative skills
Professional commitment to the successful implementation of an enriched international curriculum
Strong work ethic and willingness to contribute to the general welfare of the total School program
