Art Teacher
The  Art  teacher  delivers  well-rounded,  balanced,  and  differentiated  school–wide  and  grade
appropriate Visual Arts program to students.  T hey contribute to and grow the school’s extra-
curricular programs and whole-school activities in a committed and enthusiastic manner.
·  Develop the school’s Visual Arts program
·  Implement school policies, guidelines, and curricula
·  Work collaboratively with other teachers to develop common unit plans and assessment
strategies, share resources, etc
·  Once a month, assist with night duties from 6:30 – 8:30
·  Engage in dialogue with the parents and other members of the community
·  Represent the school at events, open days, and workshops


Requirements:
·  Strong English communication skills
·  Ability to develop and implement lessons utilizing a variety of resources
·  Ability to provide instruction in a variety of media of visual arts
·  BA or higher in Art, Visual Arts, or related (preferably as part of an Education/Teaching
degree)
·  At least 2 year of experience teaching visual art in a K12 school 
·  Experience with IB Group 6 Visual Arts an advantage
·  A  combination  of  experience,  qualifications,  and  personal  fit  are  considered  in  each
candidate
·  Bilingual English/Mandarin an advantage
·  Teaching licenses/certifications from home countries
