WLSA Shanghai Academy is looking for a full time PE Teacher for its campus in Jiading District，Shanghai, which is a K12 school offering both national curriculum and bilingual program . Duties to commence at the start of the new school year of 2023-2024.
World Leading Schools Association (WLSA) was established in 2011 in order to bridge cultural differences, promote further understanding among secondary schools, and improve collaboration between leading schools and institutions of higher education around the world. WLSA Shanghai Academy (WSA) was established in 2012. And ever since then it has developed into a prestigious school with 4 campuses in Shanghai: 2 high school campuses, 1 middles school campus and 1 K12 school campus.
The bilingual program in Jiading integrates English-taught courses with compulsory Chinese national curriculum, with an aim to foster an international mind set within local context, and well prepare students to become compassionate and responsible global citizens.

Job Description:
1.Planning, preparing and delivering lessons;
2.Assessing students properly;
3.Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress, attainment and behavior of students;
4.Promoting the general progress and well-being of students;
5.Providing guidance and advice to students on educational and social matters and on their further education and future careers;
6.Working with other members of the school staff and parents/guardians to ensure the best interest of students;
7.Reviewing and evaluating one’s own teaching and learning strategies, methodologies in line with WLSA curriculum framework guidelines;
8.Participating in-house training program and contributing to the professional development program of school;
9.Maintaining good order and discipline amongst students under one’s care and safeguarding their health and safety at all times;
10.Nurturing a culture where teachers view themselves essentially as facilitators of learning and reflective practitioners;
11.Help to organize school PE events;
12.Teach up to 20 periods per week, 40 mins per period.


Requirements:
1.A minimum of an appropriate Bachelor’s degree in related areas.
2.At least two years teaching experience
3.Passion in education and be capable of motivating students and helping shape their futures
4.Ability to work well on a team with others
5.Ability to differentiate implementation of curriculum

Salary and Benefits:
1.A competitive pre-tax salary of 22000-30000 per month,which is to be negotiated,based on education background,workload and teaching experience.
