    Introduction
    Jilin City No.1 High School

    Jilin City No. 1 High School is a public school established in 1907 which will celebrated the 116th anniversary in August. In 1978, it was approved to be one of the first key schools of Jilin Province, and by 2003, it had grown into a model high school in the Province. The school covers an area of 280,000 square meters, including an area of 143,000 square meters for facilities. There are about 85 classes from Grade 10 to Grade 12 every year, with a total of 4500 students and a staff of 450.
    With its long history, the school has gathered a profound cultural and academic inheritance in sowing valuable spirit in the lives of teachers and students. Bearing the great trust of the people and living up to the historical mission, the school has cultivated generations of outstanding talents. Deng Yingchao, wife of premier Zhou Enlai, wrote in 1987 an inscription for Jilin City No.1 High School, “Inherit the past, usher in the future.”
