Job Responsibilities
• According to the task assignment of the GienTech project manager, responsible for the Translation, Editing, Proofreading, Editing+Proofreading, or Translation Polishing of different game contents. Only one type of task will be assigned at a time.
• According to the task assignment of the GienTech project manager, perform language quality testing (LQA) on specified content in the game;
• According to the task assignment of the GienTech project manager, perform quality evaluation (LQE) on the translation quality of the game and submit LQE reports;
• According to the requirements of the GienTech project manager, create and maintain game terminology, translation style guides, or other project guidelines;
• In certain special business scenarios, directly communicate with and complete the assigned tasks from the clients served by GienTech;
Requirements
• Must be a native speaker of the specified language;
• At least 2 years of translation or editing experience in game localization industry;
• Experience using Phrase (Memosource) or other CAT tools;
• Able to work during the time period of 10:00 - 19:00 Beijing time, or with a time difference of no more than 2 hours before or after that time period. Available working time should not be less than 8 hours per day;
• Response time should not exceed 2 hours;
• Translation efficiency should not be lower than 2500 words per day, Editing+Proofreading efficiency should not be lower than 6000 words per day;
• Candidates with project management experience will be given priority;
• Candidates with skills in multiple languages will be given priority;
