Key Responsibilities:
1.Library Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school library, including cataloging. organization, and maintenance ofphysical and digital resources.
-Create and maintain a welcoming,well-organized, and inclusive library space that encourages
reading and research.
2.Curiculum Support:
-Collaborate with teachers and curiculum coordinators to align library resources and programs with the school's curriculum.
- Assist students in locating and accessing resources for their academic needs and personal
interests.
3.Information Literacy:
- Develop and implement information literacy programs to teach students research skills, critical thinking, and effective use of digital resources.
- Conduct library orientations and workshops to support students and faculty in using thelibrary effectively.
4.Collection Development:
- Assess thelibrary collection to ensure it remains relevant, diverse, and up-to-date.
- Work with the school administration to budget for and acquire new materials in various formats,including print and digital resources.
5.Technology Integration:
- Stay up-to-date with technology trends and assist in integrating digital resources and tools into the learning process.
- Manage and maintain digital platforms for library services and e-books.
6.Promote a Reading Culture:
- Organize reading promotion activities, book clubs, and author visits to cultivate a love for reading among students.
-Collaborate with teachers to support literacy initiatives and reading challenges.
7.Collaboration and Professional Development:
-Collaborate with teachers and staff to support classroom instruction and research projects.- Engage in professional development to stay current in library and education trends.
Qualifications:
-A BA or Master's degree in Library Science or Information Science.
- Prior experience working as a librarian or media specialist in an educational setting.- Strong knowledge oflibrary and information management systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
-Passion for promoting literacy, research, and digital literacy among students.
-Flexibility, adaptability,and a commitment tolifelong leaning.
-Fluency in English; knowledge of Chinese language is a plus but not required.

In 2011, i2 International Institute of Education was established in Chengdu. Started our dream in Southwestern University of Finance and Economics.

And in order to provide multi-course to customers, i2 developed “foreign teacher only” PE and arts courses & overseas programs. Not only classes operated in i2, we also started collaboration with public schools and introduced i2 courses to public schools. In 2018, i2 was authorized by SAFEA to organize the training program of Teaching English as a Foreign Language in China (TEFL in China).
i2 has over 90 campuses across 18 cities in China, with 28 in our flagship city, Chengdu, alone. i2 now has nearly two thousand employees and boasts a teaching faculty second to none, with all of our teachers having international certification and abundant teaching experience.
