A leading International School in Qingdao is seeking for a high school teacher for Feb 2024 start.
Our International School offers an exciting and challenging education. The students are part of a school community that cares for each other and allows each member to grow as an individual. There is a love of learning instilled within the students and the school's aim is for students to aspire to be leaders in all walks of life.

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate high school English teacher to deliver the curriculum from Year 10 right up to year 12. Students age : 16-18 years old. Workload : 20 classes/week 45 mins/class ,class size : 20 students.
One of our goals is to ensure that our Upper School students have the opportunity to apply the skills, dispositions, and knowledge that they have been developing over the years in the pursuit of deeper learning in areas of academic .
Qualification:
1. A good degree from an established university
2. PGCE or QTS other equivalent
3. Hold a passport from an English-speaking country
4. 2 or more years of full time, school based, teaching experience (required)
5. Excellent working knowledge of secondary curricula for English (required) – English National Curriculum preferred
6. High levels of subject knowledge in English (required)
7. Experience of working with children who have English as an additional language (desirable)
8. Experience of working in the independent sector (desirable)
9. Ability to inspire children with a love of learning
10. Ability to stretch the most able children, whilst also ensuring the curriculum is accessible to all
11. Willingness to contribute to all aspects of school life
12. Strong personal-relations and teamworking skills
13. Ability to use ICT to enhance learning
14. Good administrative and organisational abilities
15. Good communication skills
16. Ability to understand the needs, challenges and opportunities of an international school community
17. Rigorous can-do attitude
18. Positive team player with a sense of humor
Salary and Benefits:
One or two years contract
Salary: 25000 to 30000RMB monthly for 20-25 classes/week depending on experience and qualification.
