Deputy Head of Junior School English need in Tianjin International School ,Start in August
Overview
The Deputy Head of Junior School English plays a key role in delivering a coordinated and systematic English Language curriculum from Year 1 to Year 9. The primary responsibility of the Deputy Head of Junior School English is to lead the ongoing development of English Language instruction, to raise student achievement and articulate a coherent scope and sequence of English Language learning across the Junior School (Years 1 – 9) in close collaboration with the Head of Junior School English. Below are the key responsibilities of the position, however, are not exclusive and will involve the Head of Teaching and Learning (JS English) responding to the needs of the school and programs.
Terms of Employment :
Contract length : 2 years initially, renewable thereafter by negotiation
Salary :30-42K(Before tax)
during summer and winter break or holidays :Fully paid
Payoff date :10th every month
Apartment: Apartment outside of the school
Meals offered :Yes, school and teacher pay it together
Holidays : October National Day (one week), Winter Break (three weeks
in January and February), Mid Semester vacation (one week around April and one week around December) and Summer Break (six weeks in July and August)
Winter/Summer break length :
Summer break: From July-August about 5 weeks and 1-week PD
Winter break: About 3 weeks in January and February,
according to the Chinese Lunar New Year and Education Bureau’s teaching calendar
