Job Responsibilities:
Design and implement drama-focused lesson plans that align with the educational standards and objectives of our drama curriculum.
Regularly assess student progress in drama through both performance-based and written assessments.
Maintain a professional and supportive relationship with colleagues, students, and parents to foster a collaborative learning environment.
Manage and organize drama resources and the classroom setting to enhance student learning and engagement in drama.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Drama, Theatre Arts, or related field required.
Certifications: Hold a teaching certification or qualifications in Drama Education such as a state teaching license or certifications in recognized international drama teaching methodologies.
Experience: At least two years of teaching experience specifically in drama or theatre arts. Experience in directing school plays or working with students in drama productions is highly desirable.
Personal Qualities: Highly creative, dynamic, and able to inspire students; open-minded with excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with staff and parents.
Job Details:
Location: Accessible via Metro Line 7 Gu Cun Park plus a bus ride (5 stops).
Subject Taught: Drama.
Teaching Materials: Responsible for creating and adapting drama teaching materials based on the school's curriculum.
Maximum Weekly Teaching Hours: 20 lessons, 40 minutes each.
Working Days: Monday to Friday.
Daily Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Grade & Student Age: 12-15 years.
Class Size: No more than 25 students per class.
Start Date: August 2024.
Contract Duration: One year.
Compensation and Benefits:
Monthly Salary: 33,000 RMB.
Housing Allowance: 3,000 RMB/month.
End of Contract Bonus: One-time 15,000 RMB.
Flight Reimbursement: Available upon completion of the previous contract and renewal for the next school year.
Paid Holidays: 18 days during Winter; 50 days during Summer, with half-salary paid during holidays.
Work Permit & Visa: Work-type residence permit and work permit provided.
