Shanghai International High School needs Fine arts & Graphic teacher ASAP
note: A level teaching experience is important
Position: Art teacher - Graphic & Fine Arts
Location: Gubei, Shanghai
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: 28,000 to 30,000 RMB depending on experience + other benefits to be discussed with the candidate directly

Job Details:
-Teach Pre-A, AS and A Level Art and Design course focused on graphic and fine art area
-Guide students to build the skills related to the subject to support their art projects
-Cooperate with Academic coordinator evaluate students portfolio quality, assit in organizing exhibitions and related academic activities both inside and outside the school
-Set appropriate and demanding expectations for students’ learning and motivation. Set clear targets for students' learning, building on prior attainment and experiences.
-Mark and monitor students’ class and homework providing constructive oral and written feedback, setting targets for students’ progress.
-Maintain good relationship with parents and wider community
-Understand the need to take responsibility for their own professional development and to keep up to date with research and developments in pedagogy and in the subjects they teach.

Requirements and Qualifications:
-Holder of bachelor’s degree or above of Fine Art/ Graphic and teaching certificate or license.
-Have minimum 2 years of Art and design teaching experience of international Art curriculum (Btec/Edexcel/CIE/)
-Minimum 2 years of full-time teaching experience in a school setting, experience at the level of the A Level curriculum is a plus.
-Strong teamwork, cross-cultural communication ability, fluent in English and can teach in bilingual.
-Support Yew Wah's values and have passion for teaching students.
-Demonstrate rigorous approach in teaching different year levels.
