Job Description: High School English Teacher
Location: Wuhan, China
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced English Teacher. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching English for Academic Purposes (EAP), International Baccalaureate (IB) English, and English Literature courses to students at the high school level. This position requires a strong background in English language and literature, with a focus on fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of literary works among students.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans for EAP, IB English, and/or English Literature courses.
• Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback to encourage academic growth.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes critical thinking and intellectual curiosity.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a high standard of teaching and curriculum development.
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.
• Promote international exchanges and foster open-mindedness and understanding.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in English language education and international curriculum standards.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in English Language, Literature, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience teaching IB English and/or English Literature in an international high school setting.
• Proven track record of effective teaching methodologies and student engagement strategies.
• Excellent command of the English language, with strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and contribute to a dynamic school community.
• A passion for literature and a commitment to fostering a love for reading and writing in students.
• Availability to start as soon as possible.
