STEAM Teacher Wanted at Renowned International School in Xiangcheng District, Suzhou
Our prestigious international school, situated in the dynamic Xiangcheng district of Suzhou, is on the lookout for a dynamic and innovative STEAM Teacher to join our educational community. We are eager to find an educator who can inspire a passion for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) among our students aged 7-15 years old across Grades 1 to 9.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement a cutting-edge STEAM curriculum that fosters critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Conduct interactive STEAM sessions to enhance students’ understanding of scientific concepts, technological applications, engineering principles, artistic creativity, and mathematical foundations.
• Integrate interdisciplinary projects into STEAM classes, encouraging a comprehensive approach to learning.
• Collaborate with other educators to develop a cohesive and engaging STEAM program.
• Ensure a safe and stimulating environment for all students engaging in STEAM activities.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Education, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience in a formal school setting, with a focus on STEAM education.
• Proficiency in teaching STEAM subjects and a deep understanding of interdisciplinary education principles.
• Experience in project-based learning and a strong background in at least two STEAM disciplines is preferred.
Teaching Details:
• Up to 25 lessons per week, with each lesson being 40-45 minutes long.
• 8 working hours per day, excluding lunch break.
Compensation and Benefits:
• Competitive salary of 25,000 to 32,000 RMB per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
