Basic Info

1.Working Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 hours per day, 8:00am to 5:00pm, free at weekends, teach up to 25 periods per week, 45 minutes per class;
2.Student Level: Grades 10-12;
3.Class Size: Maximum 25 students per class;
4.Position: High School ELA Teacher;
5.Location: Wuzhong District, Suzhou City;

Job Description

1.Responsible of the development of related subject/program (teaching materials and plans);
2.Provide quality instruction using diverse teaching and assessment approaches appropriately;
3.Effectively manage classrooms to promote learning;
4.Design & implement suitable teaching-related documents;
5.Contribute to subject curriculum development if needed;
6.Participate in school academic and non-academic activities;
7.Engage in collaborative work with Chinese & international colleagues;
8.Up to two supervision duties per week, in the evening (6:30pm – 9:00pm);
9.Any other related duties assigned by the school

Requirements

1.Bachelor's degree or above in English major;
2.Clear criminal background check;
3.2 years+ of full time high school teaching in China;
4.Teaching license is a plus;
5.Experience with IELTS, TOFEL, IB and AP programs is a plus;
6.Classroom management and professional teaching skills;

Salary and Benefits

1.Base salary 25,000 to 30,000 RMB before tax per month based on experience and qualifications;
2.On-campus accommodation;

- All Chinese statutory holidays
