1. Over five years of experience in corporate taxation. Experience in the manufacturing sector is essential.
2. Strong understanding of German and EU tax laws, regulations, and practices regarding Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Value Added Tax (VAT), Individual Income Tax (IIT), and more.
3. Ability to work independently on various tax-related tasks, including tax filing, tax reporting, transfer pricing, permanent establishment issues, risk-based multilateral control (MLC) audits, and thin capitalization.
4. Review all financial records to ensure compliance with relevant legislation. Inspecting and cross-assessing tax bases, tax procedures, property taxes, and other regulations.
5. Conducting tax burden, risk, and financial analyses.
6. Performing tax audits using direct and indirect tax calculation methods.
7. Experience interacting with authorities such as customs, law enforcement, and tax agencies on tax matters.
