Job Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced teacher to join our international school in Wuhan. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for teaching IBDP Physics, with a smaller portion of the workload dedicated to IBDP Mathematics. The role involves delivering engaging and effective lessons, developing students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and fostering a passion for science and mathematics within a diverse and dynamic learning environment。
Responsibilities:
• Teach IBDP Physics courses to students in Grades 11 and 12, covering a range of topics including mechanics, electricity, and modern physics.
• Provide support for IBDP Mathematics courses, focusing on key areas such as algebra, calculus, and statistics.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the IBDP curriculum framework and assessment criteria.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
• Provide regular feedback to students and parents on academic progress and personal development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver interdisciplinary units and projects.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the continuous improvement of the school's science and mathematics programs。
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics or a related field. A background in Mathematics is also desirable.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in IBDP Physics and/or Mathematics.
• Valid teaching qualification/certificate.
• Strong understanding of the IBDP curriculum and assessment practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Fluency in English is essential. Chinese language skills are an advantage but not required。
Benefits:
