Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Delivery
Design and implement creative, student - centered English language lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
Teach listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, with an emphasis on developing oral proficiency and English communication skills in young learners.
Incorporate a variety of teaching methods, such as storytelling, role - playing, games, and multimedia resources, to make lessons interactive and enjoyable.
Student Assessment
Regularly assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, including quizzes, tests, projects, and class participation.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance and areas for improvement.
Use assessment data to inform instructional decisions and differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
Classroom Management
Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment where students feel comfortable taking risks and expressing themselves in English.
Establish and enforce clear classroom rules and procedures to ensure a productive learning environment.
Manage student behavior effectively and address any issues in a timely and appropriate manner.
Collaboration
Work closely with other English teachers and subject teachers to develop integrated lesson plans and ensure a cohesive approach to education.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development activities, and curriculum development initiatives.
Collaborate with parents through parent - teacher conferences, communication apps, and other means to support student learning and well - being.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Education, or a related field. A teaching certification (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, or local teaching license) is required.
Prior experience in teaching English to elementary school students is highly preferred.
Skills
Excellent English language proficiency, both written and spoken.
Strong knowledge of child development and effective teaching strategies for young learners.
Proficiency in using educational technology and multimedia resources to enhance instruction.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Working Conditions
Work Schedule
Full - time position, working [number of days] per week, [number of hours] per day, including teaching hours, preparation time, and participation in school activities.
Occasional participation in after - school events, such as English clubs, competitions, or parent - engagement activities, may be required.
Salary and Benefits
Competitive salary range of 20,000 - 30,000 RMB before tax per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
