Position Overview
We are seeking ONE enthusiastic Female Music Teacher for Lower Primary (Grades 2–3).
• 40 working hours per week (Mon–Fri schedule)
• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate music lessons aligned with the school’s bilingual curriculum
• Collaborate with Chinese and international colleagues on concerts, assemblies and special events
Candidate Profile
• Nationality: Open to both Native and Non-native English speakers
– Non-native speakers must provide verifiable documentation of 2 years’ relevant teaching experience and demonstrate clear pronunciation.
• Age: Under 60
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Music Education, Performing Arts or related field
• Experience: Minimum 1 year full-time MUSIC teaching experience in a PRIMARY school setting (agency/part-time tutoring does not qualify)
• Passionate about music education, energetic, and able to inspire young learners
Compensation & Benefits
• Monthly NET salary: RMB 20,000 – 22,000 (negotiable for outstanding candidates)
• Housing: Fully-furnished apartment provided OR RMB 1,500 monthly allowance
• Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner provided Mon–Thu; breakfast & lunch on Fridays
• Paid holidays:
– Full salary for 1-month winter break
– Half salary for 2-month summer break
– All Chinese public holidays fully paid
• Medical insurance & paid sick leave
• Work visa and residence permit fully sponsored

Nantong is a clean, modern city just 1 hour by high-speed train from Shanghai, with a lower cost of living and easy access to beaches, shopping and cultural sites.
