Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated High School Geography Teacher to join our international school in Nanchang. The successful candidate will have a strong background in teaching international curricula (such as IGCSE, A-Level, or IBDP) and the ability to inspire students to develop global awareness and critical thinking through the study of geography.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and rigorous Geography lessons at the high school level within international curricula (IGCSE, A-Level, or IBDP).

Design and adapt teaching resources to meet the diverse needs of students.

Prepare students for internal and external assessments and ensure strong academic results.

Foster inquiry-based learning, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Provide academic guidance, feedback, and support to students.

Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and whole-school initiatives.

Participate in extracurricular activities, clubs, and school events as part of the wider school community.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Geography, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

Native English speaker.

At least 2 years of teaching experience in international curricula (IGCSE, A-Level, IBDP, or equivalent).

Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
