Position: Early Years Homeroom Teacher (IB Curriculum)
Job Responsibilities:
➢Integrate IB learner profile attributes (inquirers, caring, open-minded, etc.) into daily teaching and classroom management.
➢Develop students' moral judgment, emotional management skills, and social responsibility through class meetings, scenario simulations, and story-sharing activities.
➢Co-plan and implement inquiry-based Units of Inquiry (UOI) centered on six transdisciplinary themes, guiding students to deepen learning through questioning, research, and action.
➢ Integrate knowledge from language, mathematics, social studies, and sciences into UOIs to
ensure real-world connections.
➢ Document student inquiry processes and showcase learning outcomes/progress through
portfolios.
➢ Enhance bilingual listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills via picture book reading, classical poetry appreciation, and oral expression activities.
➢ Cultivate early Chinese character recognition, writing habits, and foundational literary
appreciation.
➢Develop phonics skills, standardized English writing habits, and foster reading motivation. ➢Build number sense, spatial thinking, and logical reasoning through games and real-life contexts
(e.g., measurement, classification, pattern exploration).
➢ Strengthen cultural identity and global perspectives through Chinese traditional festivals and cultural projects.
➢ Create inclusive, safe classroom environments embodying the PYP student-centered
philosophy.
➢Design classroom displays aligned with UOI content.
➢Collaborate with specialist teachers (art, PE, etc.) to plan transdisciplinary activities. ➢Establish and consistently implement class rules through coordinated teacher teamwork. ➢Conduct child safety education (e.g., traffic safety, body privacy awareness) via role-play and nursery rhymes; develop emergency protocols and conduct drills (fire evacuation, injury
response).
➢Hold regular co-teaching meetings to align bilingual instructional strategies. ➢Jointly design comprehensive student assessments.
➢ Provide timely, accurate feedback to parents on students’ academic, social, and character
development.
➢Organize regular parent-teacher conferences and three-way meetings (student-parent-teacher) to review progress and growth goals.
➢Build robust home-school partnerships to support holistic child development.
➢Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.
Salary and Benefits:
Monthly salary RMB 25000 to 30000 before tax;

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree or above (major in Education or related subject preferred);
2. With QTS/PGCE/national teaching/TEFL certification;
3. At least 2 years of teaching experience in related fields;
4. IB/international school teaching experience preferred;
