KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Strategic Planning and Development:
•Collaborate with the founding team to define the school's vision, mission, and core values.
•Develop a comprehensive strategic plan for the school's development, including academic programs, extracurricular activities, and community engagement.
•Ensure alignment of the school's programs and operations with international educational standards and best practices.
2.Project Management:
•Support various aspects of the school's establishment, including project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
•Coordinate with cross-functional teams, such as architects, contractors, educational consultants, and legal advisors, to ensure the successful and timely completion of the project.
•Monitor project progress and proactively address any issues or delays.
3.Curriculum and Program Development:
•Work with educational experts to design and implement a curriculum that meets international standards and is tailored to the needs of the student.
•Develop and oversee the implementation of innovative teaching and learning methodologies.
•Ensure the curriculum is inclusive and supports the diverse needs of students.
4.Recruitment and Staffing:
•Assist with the recruitment and hiring of key academic and administrative founding staff, ensuring a high-quality and diverse team is in place.
5.Regulatory Compliance and Accreditation:
•Ensure the school complies with all local and international regulations and standards for educational institutions.
•Lead the process for obtaining necessary licenses and accreditation bodies from recognized educational authorities(e.g., IB, CIE).
6.Brand and Reputation Building:
•Develop and execute a marketing and outreach strategy to attract students and build a strong school community.
•Engage with local and international communities to promote the school and establish partnerships.
7.Financial Management:
•Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
•Work with the finance team to establish tuition fees and financial aid programs.
•Monitor financial performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure the school's financial sustainability.
8.Stakeholder Management:
•Serve as a primary point of contact for all stakeholders, including investors, board members, and community leaders.
•Provide regular updates and reports on the project's progress and any issues that arise.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure their support and involvement in the school.
9.Risk Management:
•Identify potential risks and challenges related to the project and develop mitigation strategies.
•Ensure compliance with local regulations and international accreditation standards.
•Implement risk management practices to minimize potential disruptions to the project.
•Manage relationships with government agencies, donors, local authorities and contractors
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Master's degree and above in Education, International affairs, or a related field.
•Experience in International Education field is desirable.
•Excellent project management and organizational skills.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Cross cultural ability to work effectively with diverse groups of community members.
•Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
•Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
•Proficiency in English required, fluency in Mandarin preferred.
