Beijing, High School Advanced Placement English Teacher position is available, starting in August,2026.

Salary:30-40k and other benefits, full paid summer and winter holidays.

Responsibilities:
• Teach AP English Language and Composition or AP Literature and Composition courses, providing rigorous instruction aligned with College Board standards and preparing students for AP examinations.
• Develop and implement engaging and differentiated lesson plans that promote
critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective writing skills, and analytical
skills.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation, inquiry, and intellectual growth among students.
• Utilize a variety of instructional methods, including discussions, debates, group
work, multimedia resources, and technology integration, to enhance student learning experiences.
• Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, including tests, essays, projects, presentations, and class participation, and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and align curriculum, share best practices,
and ensure continuity in the English program.
• Stay up-to-date with developments in English language teaching methodologies,
educational research, and AP program requirements to continuously improve
instructional strategies and curriculum.
• Support students in their college and university application process, including
writing recommendation letters and providing guidance on standardized tests
(such as SAT or ACT) and college essays.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and school wide events, contributing to the overall growth and development of the school community.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of student attendance, grades, and other
relevant data, following school policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in English, Literature, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Teaching certification or license in English or a relevant subject area, preferred
• Two ore more years experience teaching Advanced Placement English courses and familiarity with the AP program requirements and assessments, and/or IB Diploma Program English courses.
• Strong knowledge of English literature, grammar, composition, and literary analysis.
