Teaching & Learning

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons for [e.g., MYP Science, IB DP Physics, IGCSE Coordinated Science] that cater to a diverse student body.

Employ a variety of teaching strategies and resources to differentiate instruction and meet the individual learning needs of all students.

Foster an inquiry-based and student-centered learning environment where students are encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and solve problems.

Integrate technology meaningfully into the curriculum to enhance learning and digital literacy.

Develop and administer formative and summative assessments that effectively evaluate student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.

Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating laboratory and classroom environment.

Curriculum & Assessment

Implement the [e.g., IB MYP/DP, IGCSE, or school-based] science curriculum with fidelity and creativity.

Contribute to the ongoing development and review of the science curriculum and related materials.

Ensure accurate and comprehensive record-keeping of student achievement, attendance, and behavior.

Professional & Collaborative

Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Science Department and across other subject areas to promote interdisciplinary learning.

Participate actively in departmental meetings, school-wide training, and professional development opportunities.

Engage in reflective practice and a commitment to continuous professional growth.

Qualifications & Experience

A Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field
A minimum of [2-3] years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting.
Proven experience teaching [e.g., IB Diploma Programme, IGCSE, MYP, AP] is highly desirable.
Strong subject knowledge in your specialized field (e.g., Science, STEAM, Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
