About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate School Psychologist to join our student support team. This unique role combines direct counseling services with teaching responsibilities, aimed at fostering the social, emotional, and academic well-being of our students. Please note that our school does not have a high school section; therefore, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to our Primary and Middle School students.
Key Responsibilities:
Counseling & Support:
Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Conduct psychological assessments and collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop supportive intervention plans.
Serve as a key resource for crisis intervention and management.
Deliver workshops and training for students, parents, and staff on topics related to mental health, child development, and positive behavior support.
Teaching:
Design and teach a developmentally appropriate curriculum in areas such as social-emotional learning (SEL), health, and well-being to primary and middle school students.
Teaching Load:
12–14 lessons per week.
Qualifications and Experience:
A bachelor's degree or higher in School Psychology, Educational Psychology, or a closely related field.
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a school setting, preferably in an international context.
Experience teaching or designing curriculum is highly desirable.
A background in IB programs or demonstrated experience in bilingual/international educational environments is advantageous.
Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills, with the ability to build trust with students, parents, and colleagues.
Compensation & Benefits:
We offer a highly competitive international compensation package, including:
Monthly Salary: RMB 20,000 – 35,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
Housing Allowance:
Without minor children: RMB 8,000/month
With minor children: RMB 10,500/month
Annual Flight Allowance:
Without minor children: RMB 15,000/year
With minor children: RMB 30,000/year
