School Librarian – Xi’an
Salary: 30,000+ RMB / month
Basic Information
* Position: School Librarian
* Location: Xi’an, Shaanxi Province
* Start Date: Feb 2026
* Working Hours: Monday–Friday
* School Type: International School
Job Responsibilities
* Manage daily library operations and support students and staff.
* Organize, catalogue, and maintain library materials.
* Assist students and teachers in finding and using resources.
* Provide guidance on online research tools and digital resources.
* Prepare and teach basic library skills or literacy-related classes.
* Create displays and reading-promotion activities.
* Supervise students during library opening hours as scheduled.
* Cooperate with the English Language Department and participate in school events.
Job Requirements
* Native or near-native English proficiency.
* Bachelor’s degree or above (Library Science or Education preferred).
* Experience working in libraries or education settings.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Knowledge of children’s literature and basic pedagogy.
