Job Posting: Nursery Teacher (Ages 2–3)

Position Overview
The school is seeking a warm, engaging, and experienced Early Years educator to join the Nursery team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of early childhood development, a passion for play-based learning, and the ability to create a nurturing, safe, and joyful learning environment for our youngest learners.

Key Responsibilities
• Create a caring, developmentally appropriate, and stimulating classroom environment for children aged 2–3.
• Plan and deliver play-based, inquiry-led learning activities aligned with Early Years education principles.
• Support children’s daily routines including toileting, handwashing, transitions, and emotional regulation.
• Observe, document, and assess children’s developmental progress and learning milestones.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with parents regarding children’s daily experiences and development.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and colleagues to maintain a well-organized classroom and consistent expectations.
• Ensure all practices comply with school policies, especially in safeguarding, health & safety, and child protection.
• Participate in professional development, team meetings, and school events as required.
• No morning or afternoon duty required.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
• Recognized Early Years teaching qualification preferred (e.g., Early Childhood Certificate, Montessori, EYFS experience).
• At least 2 years of teaching experience with children aged 2–3.
• Strong classroom management, patience, and a deep understanding of child development.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and bilingual school environment.
•A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., UK QTS/PGCE or equivalent national license)
