Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Primary Art Teacher to join our creative and passionate team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating high-quality art education to primary students, encouraging creativity, self-expression, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts. This role requires a dynamic educator who can contribute to the development of our art curriculum and support the school’s mission to nurture well-rounded, internationally-minded learners.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement an engaging, skills-based art curriculum aligned with school standards.
• Teach art to primary students, fostering creativity, technique, and critical thinking.
• Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages artistic exploration.
• Assess student progress using a variety of formative and summative methods.
• Organize and lead school art events, exhibitions, and extracurricular activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art across the curriculum and school community.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents regarding student progress and activities.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school-wide events.
• Uphold and promote the school’s values, policies, and safeguarding standards.

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
• Teaching certification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching art at the primary level.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
• Experience in an international or bilingual school setting is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of art history, techniques, and contemporary practices.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
