Job Description:

Optimal Learning is an online education company providing international K12 curriculum support for students from international schools in China.

We are currently looking for experienced bilingual subject teachers who are native Chinese speakers and have strong English proficiency. This role is suitable for teachers who understand international curricula and can support students studying IGCSE, A-Level, IBDP, AP and other international programmes.

Our students are mainly Chinese students from international schools or bilingual schools. Teachers should be able to explain academic concepts clearly and help students build both subject understanding and international curriculum learning skills.

Job Details

Position: Online Bilingual Subject Teacher
Teaching format: Online
Teaching hours: Flexible and negotiable
Student age: K12 students from international schools in China
Curriculum: IGCSE, A-Level, IBDP, AP and other international programmes
Cooperation type: Part-time / flexible / long-term cooperation

Responsibilities
Deliver online lessons for international curriculum subjects
Support students with subject knowledge, coursework, exam preparation and academic skills
Explain international curriculum concepts clearly in English and/or Chinese when appropriate
Help students understand key terminology, assessment requirements and exam-style questions
Provide structured lesson support and learning feedback
Communicate professionally with the teaching team and parents when required
Requirements

Applicants should ideally have:

Native Chinese proficiency
Strong English proficiency
More than 5 years of teaching experience
Experience teaching international curricula such as IGCSE, A-Level, IBDP or AP
Strong subject knowledge
Ability to explain complex concepts clearly
Experience working with students from international or bilingual schools
A responsible and professional teaching attitude
Interest in long-term collaboration
Preferred Qualifications

The following experience is preferred but not essential:

International school or bilingual school teaching experience
Head of Department / subject leadership experience
Examiner experience for IGCSE, A-Level, IBDP or AP
Experience supporting students with international exams
Online teaching experience
Relevant teaching qualification
