Basic Info

1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm;
2. Student Level: Middle School (MYP Students);
3. Class Size: Approximately 25 students per class;

Job Description

1. Deliver engaging and high-quality English Language and Literature lessons within the IB MYP framework;
2. Develop and implement inquiry-based learning experiences that promote critical thinking, communication, and analytical skills;
3. Plan, prepare, and assess student learning in accordance with MYP curriculum standards and assessment criteria;
4. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student growth and achievement;
5. Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents;
6. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, interdisciplinary projects, and school initiatives;
7. Participate actively in school academic programs, professional development activities, and extracurricular events;
8. Contribute to the continuous development and enhancement of the English curriculum and teaching resources.

Requirements

1. Native English Speaker;
2. Bachelor's degree or above in English, Education, Literature, Linguistics, or a related field;
3. Valid teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, Teaching License, TESOL/TEFL/CELTA, or equivalent);
4. Clear criminal background check;
5. Minimum two years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in middle school English;
6. Experience with IB MYP curriculum is preferred;
7. Strong classroom management, communication, and collaborative skills.

Salary and Benefits

1. Salary range: 25,000–35,000 RMB per month before tax, based on experience and qualifications;
2. Housing allowance .
3. Work visa provided;
4. Medical insurance provided;
5. Lunch provided during workdays;
6. Flight reimbursement of up to 10,000 RMB per year;
7. All Chinese national holidays plus fully paid summer and winter holidays.
