What This Role Does
Takes charge of primary school academics. Makes sure the IB PYP runs properly. Keeps learning student-centred and inquiry-driven. Uses strong curriculum leadership and team support to raise student outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning
- Keep classroom teaching strong and students actively involved.
-Push inquiry-based and concept-driven approaches.

Curriculum & Articulation
- Make sure learning flows well from one grade to the next.
- Help students move smoothly into MYP.

Assessment & Data
- Look at student data to adjust and improve teaching.
- Match school assessments with IB expectations.

Leadership & Operations
- Help evaluate teachers and grow their skills.
- Take part in running the primary school.

Teaching Duties
- Teach a lighter load – subjects or transdisciplinary classes.
- Show others what good inquiry and concept-driven teaching looks like in class.
- Connect daily teaching with leadership work to improve the whole school.

What We're Looking For
- At least five years of primary teaching experience, plus leadership roles like grade leader or curriculum coordinator.
- Hands-on IB PYP experience and a solid grasp of concept-driven and transdisciplinary learning.
- Can line up the curriculum across grades so learning builds year by year.
- Can use student data to make teaching better.
- Has done teacher appraisals and helped teachers grow professionally.
- Good at talking and working with students, teachers, and parents.
