English Teacher Wanted at a Public University in Wuxi, Jiangsu
Location: Wuxi, Jiangsu Province — "The Pearl of Taihu Lake"
Wuxi is a vibrant city in East China, situated in the heart of the economically developed Yangtze River Delta. Bordered by the Yangtze River to the north and the third-largest freshwater lake in China, Taihu Lake, to the south, Wuxi is renowned as the "Pearl of Taihu Lake." The city is conveniently located just 128 km east of Shanghai and 183 km west of Nanjing, offering excellent connectivity and a high quality of life.
Position Overview
• Student Age Group: 18–22 years old
• Institution Type: Public University
• Contract Duration: One year
• Start Date: September 2026
Teaching Load
• 14–16 class hours per week (No office hours required)
• 45 minutes per class hour
• Weekends off
Responsibilities
• Engage in full-time English language teaching, with a primary focus on spoken English
• Complete additional teaching-related tasks as assigned, including after-class Q&A sessions and tutorials
• Participate in or organize extracurricular activities
Salary & Benefits
Qualification Monthly Salary (Pre-tax)
Bachelor's Degree / Language Teacher ¥10,000 – ¥14,000
Master's Degree ¥12,000
Doctoral Degree ¥14,000
