Homeroom Teacher — International Kindergarten in Xiamen
Start Date: August 2026
About the Position
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Homeroom Teacher to join our international kindergarten in Xiamen, China. The successful candidate will lead a classroom, deliver inquiry-based learning, and create a nurturing environment aligned with the IB philosophy.
Requirements
• Native English speaker from the United Kingdom or the United States
• Proven experience working in an IB kindergarten / early years setting
• Candidates currently based in China will be given priority
Salary & Benefits
• Salary: RMB 28,000 – 32,000 per month (pre-tax)
• Housing: Free furnished apartment OR monthly housing allowance of RMB 4,500
• Paid Holidays:
◦ Winter holiday: approximately 20 days
◦ Summer holiday: 30–45 days
◦ Holidays are paid at 80% of base salary
• Contract: 22 months
• Insurance: Comprehensive commercial medical insurance provided
• Child Tuition Benefit: 70% discount on tuition for your first child (you pay 30%)
• Meals: Workday lunches provided
