Job Title: Russian Language Teacher & Translator

Job Responsibilities

1. Undertake the teaching of Russian courses for the Sino-foreign cooperative major of Mechatronic Engineering Technology, including basic Russian and professional Russian.
2. Formulate teaching schedules and compile lesson plans in accordance with talent training programs and syllabus requirements, and complete required teaching hours.
3. Be responsible for cultivating students’ comprehensive abilities in Russian listening, speaking, reading and writing, with a focus on improving students’ oral Russian communication skills.
4. Participate in Russian teaching research, textbook development and teaching reform.
5. Cooperate with Chinese teachers in bilingual teaching and assist with translation of Russian materials for professional courses.
6. Organize second-class activities such as Russian corners and Russian cultural events to create a Russian-learning atmosphere.
7. Guide students to participate in Russian-related competitions and language proficiency examinations.
8. Provide academic tutoring, Q&A and assessment evaluation for students.
9. Complete other teaching-related tasks assigned by the college.

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications

1. Native Russian speaker (Candidates from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and other Russian-speaking countries are preferred).
2. Aged 25–55, in good physical health and capable of teaching work.
3. Hold a valid passport with no criminal record, and meet the requirements for applying for a Chinese work visa.
4. Bachelor’s degree or above; majors such as linguistics, pedagogy and literature are preferred.
5. At least 2 years of Russian teaching experience; candidates with university teaching experience are preferred.
6. Candidates with Russian language teaching qualifications (ТРКИ, TORFL, etc.) or teaching certificates are preferred.

Professional Competencies

1. Standard Russian pronunciation with clear and fluent expression.
2. Familiar with Russian teaching methodologies, able to design teaching activities tailored for Chinese students.
3. Familiar with vocabulary related to mechatronics; candidates capable of teaching professional Russian are preferred.
4. Basic Chinese communication ability is preferred (not mandatory).
5. Proficient in office software and multimedia teaching equipment.

Comprehensive Qualities

1. Passionate about education, responsible and patient.
2. Good at communicating with students and skilled in classroom interaction.
3. Team player, able to collaborate well with Chinese teachers.
4. Respect Chinese culture and school rules and regulations.
5. Strong adaptability, willing to work stably long-term in Tongliao.

Salary & Benefits

1. Salary: 8,000 – 15,000 RMB per month (negotiable based on education background, experience and qualifications).
