# Position Overview

This position is focused on **A-Level academic leadership, curriculum implementation, and international education system development**. It is not a purely administrative role or a simple project execution position.

The International Division Director will take full responsibility for:

* International curriculum system development;
* A-Level/IGCSE curriculum implementation and academic quality management;
* International faculty team building and management;
* Student development and overseas university pathway development;
* Admissions strategy and parent communication;
* International education partnerships and resource development;
* Department operation and sustainable growth.

The successful candidate will be expected to combine strong academic judgment, curriculum leadership, team management capability, and international education development experience to build and continuously improve the school’s international division.

# Key Responsibilities

## 1. International Division Strategic Planning and System Development

* Develop the long-term development strategy and operational roadmap for the International Division based on the school’s overall vision and development goals;
* Establish an international education framework aligned with the school’s positioning;
* Build and continuously improve systems covering international curriculum, teaching, student development, and department operations;
* Optimize the organizational structure, management processes, and working mechanisms of the International Division.

## 2. International Curriculum and Academic Leadership

* Take overall responsibility for academic quality and educational development within the International Division;
* Lead the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of the A-Level/IGCSE curriculum system;
* Establish curriculum planning, teaching evaluation, and academic quality assurance mechanisms;
* Guide teachers in curriculum design, teaching research, classroom improvement, and professional development;
* Ensure the quality and compliance of international curriculum delivery according to examination board requirements.

* Lead the recruitment, development, evaluation, and professional growth of international faculty members;
* Build a professional, collaborative, and high-performing international teaching team;

* Develop and implement international division admissions strategies;

# Job Requirements

## 1. Educational Background and Professional Experience

* Bachelor’s degree or above; candidates with backgrounds in Education, related academic disciplines, Educational Management, or overseas study experience are preferred;
* Strong academic background in A-Level subjects with a solid understanding of A-Level specifications, curriculum frameworks, teaching methodologies, and assessment systems;
* Minimum 3 years of international school teaching management experience, with previous experience as Subject Leader, Curriculum Coordinator, Academic Director, or International Division Director;
* Proven experience in building an A-Level curriculum system from 0 to 1 or successfully implementing international education programs, with measurable academic outcomes;
* Strong capability in academic leadership, team management, curriculum development, and continuous improvement of teaching quality;
* Candidates with experience managing A-Level programs in international schools or bilingual schools will be strongly preferred;
* Demonstrated career stability and willingness to commit to long-term development;
* Fluent Chinese and English communication skills.

# Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Education, International Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Leadership, or related fields;
* 5+ years of experience working in international schools, international high schools, or international divisions;
* At least 3 years of experience in international education leadership or management roles;
* Deep understanding of A-Level/IGCSE curriculum systems;
* Experience with international curriculum teaching management, examination systems (CAIE, Pearson Edexcel, AQA), and overseas university admissions;
* Excellent English communication skills with the ability to conduct international communication and management independently;
* Strong understanding of Chinese students, Chinese parents, and the operating environment of Chinese private international schools.
