This is a joint program between the University, Italy and Shandong First Medical
University, the lecturer or the professor would represent Italy aspect teaching in SFMU.

3. Course Information is as below: The lecturer will be expected to teach 5 to 6 courses per
semester(2 courses for each cohort would be the most ideal situation) .

Fall semester 2024( lecture 5 to 6 courses among the following 11 courses , 1 to 2 courses for per cohort).
2022 cohort:
1 Semiotics---30 offline hours
2 Hygiene---68 offline hours
3 Nursing Research---32 offline hours
4 Geriatrics---64 offline hours
5 Oncology care---30 offline hours
6 Emergency care---36 offline hours
7 Multicultural care---68 offline hours

2023 cohort:
8 Italian and EU Nursing Culture 1---32 offline hours
9 Psychology---30 offline hours
10 Nursing Management---28 offline hours

2024 cohort:
11 English 1---32 offline hours

Spring semester 2025 ( lecture 5 to 6 courses among the following 13 courses , 1 to 2 courses for per cohort)

1 English for Nursing---30 offline hours
2 Advanced Nursing Theory---68 offline hours
3 Infectious Diseases---48 offline hours
4 Community Nursing---48 offline hours
5 Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing---48 offline hours

7 Italian and EU Nursing Culture 2---32 offline hours
8 Medical Law and Ethics---18 offline hours

2024 cohort:
11 English 2---32 offline hours

Job Details:
1. Mode of Instruction: Onsite ( offline).
2. Materials and PPT : The lecturer is expected to decide related teaching materials and
textbooks for above courses based on the outline or course description of per course approved
by Education bureau office already . Meanwhile ,the lecturer is expected to create and design PPT, quiz, test ,evaluation standard etc ...
3. Time Duration: September 2024 to August2025 (12 months contract),
4. Teaching Load: 16 to 20 teaching hours/week,
5. Working time : Monday to Friday, weekends off, no office hours .
6. Payment: 25000 RMB/month, pre tax .
7. Holidays : Fully paid summer and winter holidays and other Chinese public holidays.
8, Accommodation : Provided, the lecturer will be living in the accommodation arranged by the
University during your stay at Shandong First Medical University .
9. Flight tickets : We would provide one round trip tickets (economy class), no more than 2000
dollars reimbursement for abroad teachers .
10. Visa: Z visa will be provided,we will reimburse the overseas certification materials and medical examination used for visa application according to receipts.

Expectations for Qualified Candidates:
① Italian nationality teachers will be considered first since this is a Sino-Italian cooperated
University Program, no restriction.
② Qualified candidates should have at least the Master’s Degree, majoring in Nursing related
etc.
③ Qualified candidates should have at least 2-3 years of experience in education or related
subject and course teaching .
④ Candidates who can teach multiple courses will be preferred.
⑤ Candidates with rich classroom management and organization skills will be preferred
