Sr. Hardware/Electronic Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Hardware/Electronic Engineer with at least 3 years of hardware development experience and 1 year of experience in the lighting industry. The candidate should have a college degree or above in electronics, electrical, communications, automation, or a related field
Key responsibilities include:
• Designing schematics and PCB layouts based on product design specifications, and performing hardware design checks
• Debugging hardware and analyzing/resolving/verifying bugs during product development
• Planning and organizing product performance and reliability testing
• Reviewing BOM, schematics, PCB files, and other production documents
• Analyzing and resolving major exceptions from factories and after-sales, and generating analysis reports
• Writing design documents, product manuals, test plans, debug/test reports, and hardware checklists
• Other tasks assigned by superiors
Job Competences & Qualifications
• 3+ years of hardware development experience, with 1+ years in the lighting industry
• Proficient in electronic product development processes and hands-on product development design experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills to quickly analyze, locate, and resolve problems
• Good risk and cost control awareness
• Excellent technical documentation writing skills
• Good communication skills and teamwork awareness
Preferred Skills
• Familiar with hardware design software like Altium Designer and Circuit Studio
• Understands the development trends of the LED lighting industry, especially in film and stage lighting
• Proficient in new product development processes and tools like DFX, DFMEA, and DOE
• Able to guide technical personnel in testing and layout
• Good English proficiency
• Strong expression and communication skills for effective teamwork
• Excellent teamwork and fast project advancement abilities
Soft skills Required
• Communication: Effectively communicate with team members and across departments.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project development goals.
• Problem-solving: Lead the team in analyzing, locating, and solving problems.
