Job Title: Principal
Location: Shunyi, Beijing, China
Position Summary:
The International School of Shunyi is looking for a dynamic and experienced Foreign Principal to lead our school community. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of at least two years in an international school leadership role and will be fluent in Chinese.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide visionary leadership and management to the school.
• Develop and implement the school’s strategic plan.
• Oversee the educational program to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive school culture.
• Engage with parents, staff, and the wider community to build strong relationships.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant educational standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of two years’ experience as a Principal in an international school setting.
• Fluency in Chinese (written and spoken) is essential.
• A strong educational background with a relevant degree.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
• Experience in curriculum development and educational innovation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
Compensation:
• Competitive salary package ranging from 400,000 to 800,000 RMB per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
